Chris Kierstead, our Technology Integrator, has been teaching the students in Kindergarten through 4th grade about Coding, the language for technology to communicate and create.
She wanted to create a real-world experience for the students to relate the coding with hands-on activities so she introduced them to Dash and Dot from WonderWorks. These are robots that are used with iPad apps to make the robots complete actions and activities. This provides them with a nice introduction to Robotics. The students were excited and really showed great teamwork as they took turns and discussed how the robots should be coded.
