Last month, Chewonki put on a wonderful virtual presentation for our 3rd grade students. This presentation supported our animal adaptations unit. Students were able to see a tarantula, owl, and lizard. They learned about their adaptations and how these adaptations help them survive. 
Due to Covid-19 all Maine Agriculture in the Classroom presentations were virtual. This year, students learned about the process of making cheese. A woman from Pineland Farms showed students around her barn and shared her experience raising cows.
Students and staff had so much fun being able to “visit” these wonderful places.
