by Monica Charette
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Mid-Maine (BBBSMM) was pleased to present the 2018 ShineOnCass Mentoring Award to three amazing (and unsuspecting) Bigs at Messalonskee High School and for the first time, to a Big Sister at Waterville Senior High School. The presentations were made by BBBS at student assemblies held at
both high schools in April.

The BBBSMM ShineOnCass Mentoring Award was established to honor and remember Cassidy Charette, whose passion for youth mentoring Shines On at programs established at Williams Elementary in Oakland, and at the Alfond Youth Center in Waterville.
Congratulations to Messalonskee Bigs Blake Marden, Emily Larsen and Noah Tuttle and to Waterville High youth mentor Leah Shoulta. Thanks to all Big Brothers and Big Sisters for being positive role models to your “Littles” and for Shining the Light of Cass!
