ATW student wins Secretary of State Poster Contest!

Atwood student Ethan To has won first place in the K-3 division of the Secretary of State’s 2019 Maine Constitution Essay & Poster Contest!  The poster contest’s purpose is to “promote the history of Maine, the Maine Constitution, and the importance of democracy and voting.” The K-3 division was charged with creating a poster of the official Maine Symbols.

For his amazing artwork, Ethan and his second-grade class will spend a day in August as guests of the Secretary of State.  They will get to visit the archives to view the Maine State Constitution, visit the State House, and tour the Maine State Museum.

Congratulations, Ethan!
