The Year End Studies (YES) program kicked off its third year at MHS yesterday. From Breakfast and Books to Rugby, the wide variety of sessions offers something for everyone
The YES program is designed to strengthen connections within the school and the greater community while encouraging students to try something new and expand their horizons in a low stakes environment.
On campus and off, students will spend the last week of school learning cooking skills, trying new sports, conducting science experiments, building armor, exploring Maine, and engaging in a variety of community service projects…just to name a few.
Students will continue the tradition of wrapping up the YES program with presentations and a gallery walk to share what they learned in their sessions.
