Wondering what to do now that school is out? Try the Sizzling Summer Passport!

The RSU 18 Lifestyles Team is proud to introduce the first year of the Sizzling Summer Passport.  This is a summer wellness challenge for staff and students in Kindergarten through 12th grade, designed to encourage everyone to stay physically and mentally active through the summer months.

The Summer Passports were sent home with students earlier this week and are attached below. Over the course of the summer, we’ll also be sharing activities and reminders on the RSU 18 blog and Facebook page. The summer bucket list includes physical fitness activities, mind games, self-improvement exercises, activities to develop creativity, and fun for all.  Try it as a family!

Any student who does 18 or more activities can turn their signed passport into their building principal by Friday, September 6th to receive a participation gift.

Get started this week with some of these ideas:

Physical Fitness

20-40 minutes of walking/jogging.

Be Creative

Paint, draw, color, etc

Mind Games

Learn to juggle with scarves, balls, bean bags, etc.

Fun for all

Go Bowling or Mini Golfing

Self-Improvement

No sugary foods or beverages for the day.
