Title: When Spring Comes

Author: Kevin Henkes    Illustrations: Laura Drontek

Book Summary: This book is about springtime and what happens as the winter fades and the snow melts. Birds return and trees blossom. The grass turns green and animals come out of hibernation. This book explains all the different activities that spring brings.

Why I think parents should read this book to their kids: I think parents and kids would enjoy “When Spring Comes” because it’s happy and has bright colorful illustrations. It is an easy and fun read.

Title: The Wonky Donkey

Author: Craig Smith      Illustrations: Katz Cowley

Wonky Donkey

Book Summary: This book is about a donkey who has many differences about him that make him unique. The story takes you through all of his physical differences, but despite these, he is still a  donkey.

Why I think parents should read this book to their kids: I think parents and kids would get a good laugh out of this book and you must read with a British accent.
