WES Watch D.O.G.S pizza night a great success!

Chad Parisi, school social worker at Williams Elementary School, organized the school’s first Watch DOGS (Dads of Great Students) pizza party which was held last Thursday, September 12th. Parisi and principal Melanie Smith felt that starting a Watch DOGS program at WES would help increase family engagement this year.

Over 20 adults attended the pizza party with their children.  At the end of the night, 18 adults signed up for over 45 dates throughout the school year! A few other adults also committed to connecting with Parisi about scheduling additional dates. Both Chad and Melanie were so thankful for the huge turnout and are very excited to work with the volunteers. What a great start to the WATCH DOGS program at WES!

If any other parents or grandparents would like to join the Watch DOGS at WES or learn more about this great program please contact Chad Parisi at cparisi@rsu18.org or by calling the school 465-2965.
