CMS has decided to take on Slugger’s Challenge from the Portland Sea Dogs.
Slugger has challenged students to read five books above and beyond any school required reading. Each student that successfully completes the challenge will be given a FREE ticket to a Portland Sea Dogs baseball game! There are three games you can choose from in April and May. Not only is this a great opportunity for students individually, but by participating, they can help our school too!
Portland Sea Dogs will make a cash donation to the top three schools with the highest percentage of students who complete the challenge. 1st Place will get a $1,000 donation, 2nd Place will get a $500 donation, and 3rd Place gets a $250 donation. The challenge ends on March 20th, so it’s time to get reading!
