Maine Agriculture in the Classroom

Students in grades 3-5 at Williams Elementary learned about plant varieties and parts during a session with Maine Agriculture in the classroom. Presenters read a book, taught students a movement to remember the six parts of a plant, and then students were invited to look for different varieties of greens in a spring mix. The best part was that students were able to identify and taste test the different varieties in their laboratories!
