Over the past few days, RSU 18 teachers and administrators have been finding fun and creative ways to connect with their students even during this time apart. In addition to putting educational resources together for their folders, they have been taking to social media to share outside resources, scavenger hunts, and wellness challenges. They’ve set up Zoom meetings, gone on Facebook live to read to their students, and taken to Twitter to offer messages of support to staff, students, and families. Nothing can take the place seeing students in the classroom and interactions in the halls, but until we can be together again, we will keep reaching out any way we can.
