About 12 % of the China Middle School students have chosen to do remote learning for Quarter 1. Our remote learning program has a variety of instructional methods that are taking place to accommodate our remote learners. Several days a week, the teachers meet with their remote students as a group and deliver their instruction virtually through Google Meets. One day a week, students join in virtually with their entire classroom to stay connected with their peers.
Throughout the week, our student support specialist, Doreen Armour, is available to assist students to answer questions about their assignments or provide support. We are glad that families have the opportunity to choose in-person or remote learning at this time.
