RSU 18’s own Jennifer McGee has been named in the Fenway Honor Roll of outstanding people in the field of education in New England. Our Atwood Principal was one of 6 Maine educators listed.
Her write up in the honor roll reads, “At Atwood, where nearly 60% of students live in poverty, Jennifer has increased the school’s capacity for quality early childhood intervention and individual learning with a daily WIN (“What I Need”) period. Her goal is always to create a joyful environment where children thrive and love to learn.”
