LabVenture Express At CMS

Fifth graders in Mrs. Averill’s class participated in LabVenture Express, a virtual field trip led by the Gulf of Maine Research Institute. Over the course of one week, students learned about ocean ecosystems, food webs, and the impact of climate change on species’ habitats through Zoom lessons with scientists, an interview with a biologist from Greece, and interactives on their laptops.
