Outsiders Art Project at MMS

Mrs. Wood’s eighth grade Language Arts students read The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton. As part of their assessment they could choose from a variety of options such as designing a T-shirt for the Greasers that depicts values or symbols of the gang, draw a caricature of one of the main characters, draw the rumble using whatever medium they wished, or prepare a collage that represents the split that existed between the Greasers and the Socs.
