As part of our Kindness Challenge Week, Mrs. Forney’s fourth graders and several other classrooms at Williams Elementary participated in the Hearts for Hospice Challenge 2021. This is the tenth year that patients throughout New England will be receiving valentines through Beacon Hospice and Amedisys Hospice Care. The Hearts for Hospice mission: to present each patient in their service with a homemade Valentine’s day card created by Girl Scouts, Hospice Volunteers, local school children and community members. 17,000 cards have been delivered during the past nine years! Team Forney was very excited to spread some sunshine.
