The Maine Ag in the Classroom grant called “Tackling the Unseen” was awarded to Mrs.Prelgovisk and Mr. Quigley.
The $2,000. grant includes purchasing two new high powered microscopes with digital cameras to investigate insect management for the Plant Biology Dual Credit (KVCC and MHS) course and the MHS Greenhouse. Educational materials such as insect identification, guides to prevention, and treatment will be covered as a result of this grant award.
