Tech Tuesday Spotlight: 3D Printing at CMS

Students in Mrs. Dugan’s 3D printing elective course at China Middle use a program called Tinkercad to design 3D printed objects. Students have created different fidgets, door stops, popsicle sticks, and much more! In different classes, middle schoolers can exchange “Clipper Tickets” for classroom currency used to purchase 3D printed items. Other 3D printed items are used as prizes in a variety of classroom activities. Mrs. Dugan works on strengthening students’ innovation skills and problem solving skills with projects like these.
