China School Forest October Story Walk

Second graders in Ms. Preston’s class have been jumping into engaging learning experiences for multiple texts this month! They recently had a wonderful time with Mrs. Smith in the China School Forest going on a story walk and reading the book, We Are Going on a Leaf Hunt. They also had a blast being imaginative and creating awesome paper bags monsters to go with their weekly mentor text called I Need My Monster. Moments like these make the texts come to life for our young learners!
