The students of Williams Elementary School made all the staff of the school “Kindness Cards” to bring a little joy to their day in celebration of World Kindness Day. Students wrote letters, decorated pre-made cards, and even designed their own cards with bright colors and cheery words to let the staff know they were thinking of them. Students wrote notes of encouragement, praise, and appreciation for all that the staff does. Then a little sweet treat was added to their cards and placed in their mailboxes for a special surprise before the national observance. Some of the students even colored kindness hearts to put up around the school to remind staff and students how important it is to be kind to everyone. Students made cards to give to those in local care facilities to let them know that they were being thought of too! #WeAreRSU18
