Third grade students at Williams Elementary have been learning about goods and services. To continue their learning of these concepts, the third graders participated in the Junior Achievement Program where they learned about banking, taxes, and opening a business.
In Ms. Robinson’s classroom, the students have been working on a special social studies project tying in math and writing. The class has taken charge in creating their own food-stands! The students have had to come up with a name for their business, create a logo, create a menu, as well as create a flyer to give information about their food-stand. The students have been doing a fantastic job on their planning! They are very enthusiastic as well as impressive business owners creating a variety of meals at fair prices! They are excited to purchase items from their classmates’ food stands to practice making change. #WeAreRSU18
