Mrs. Gillcash’s kindergarten class read My Weekly Reader from Scholastic this month. It was entitled It’s a New Year and it focused on children setting goals for themselves. After reading and discussing the information, the students thought of some of their own goals. The next day, they did a connected writing activity. These kindergarteners later shared their writing with the class. This activity is on display in the classroom. #WeAreRSU18
