During volunteer time at Messalonskee High School’s Spring Fling, some freshmen assembled twenty-four Adirondack chairs for the new outdoor classroom placed in the MHS courtyard. Superintendent, Carl Gartley, came by to check the progress!
Another outdoor classroom will be built with landscaped field stones early this summer. Students prepared the space for construction, added mulch to the blueberry garden, and planted flowers at the front entrance. The outdoor classroom will be funded by the “Friends of Acadia Outdoor Grant” along with RSU 18 funds. #WeAreRSU18
