Meet Scott Hallett, assistant principal of Messalonskee High School!
What jobs have you had before becoming an administrator? I’ve been a contractor, landscaper, and business owner.
What are you most excited about for this upcoming year? I’m looking forward to seeing the students every day!
What do you like to do in your spare time? I like toys with motors (cars, trucks, motorcycles, and atvs), spending time with my family, and board sports (wakesurf, surf, snowboard, and skateboard).
What’s your favorite meal? Tuna Noodle Casserole!
What’s been your best school memory – either as a student or administrator? Every graduation every year!!
What would your students be surprised to find out about you? I am fully recovered from a dirt bike accident 10 years ago when I shattered my collar bone and broke my L1 vertebrae in half.
If you could live anywhere, where would it be? Belgrade, Maine.
What’s your favorite thing to study? New technology applied to motors and board sports.
Tell us about your family! My 26 year old daughter, Marissa, lives and works in Orlando, Florida. She works in a school for autistic children. My son, Scotty, is a junior at Messalonskee High School. My wife of 24 years left a 20 year career in banking and currently serves as the Study Hall Monitor at Messalonskee High School.

What has been your greatest accomplishment? My family!
