As always, we are giving away a copy of the book to one lucky district student! To be entered in the district drawing, follow the steps below:

Extension Activity:
Stellaluna loved her bird friends even though they were all very different. Flitter, Flap and Pip loved Stellaluna even though she was very different.
“How can we be so different and feel so much alike?” mused Flitter. “And how can we feel so different and be so much alike?” wondered Pip.
Sometimes celebrating friends’ differences can bring you closer together! Picture one of your own friends. Are you exactly the same? Are you different? Write a story or draw a picture to show the differences between you and a good friend.
