Fifth graders at Williams Elementary School used the picture book I Am Enough by Grace Byers as a model for writing simile statements to empower others. Students were challenged to think about who they are and what they are here to do. Each student designed a Google Slide with a powerful simile to describe their passion or a character trait, as well as a positive mindset to move forward with intentionality.
