Denice Hatch’s students at Atwood Primary School, also known as the Hatch’s Hoppers, were excited to use a variety of materials to build their leprechaun traps last week. After reading a number of St. Patrick’s Day themed stories, singing a song about finding gold at the end of the rainbow, learning new words like mischief and bait, and writing about why they are lucky, these young students created a plan with their partner to trap a leprechaun, and they put their plans in motion!
They had to wait all weekend to discover what came of their leprechaun traps, and were anxiously excited when they returned to school this morning! #WeAreRSU18 #AtwoodAwesome
