MHS kicked off its December Giving Project this week. According to guidance counselor Kara Sprague, the point of the project is to help relieve a little stress and benefit the community during a time of year that can be tough for students. “It’s just meant to be a fun but meaningful activity,” said Ms. Sprague. Each advisory group gets to choose what to focus on for the project. Math teacher Jenn Mayo’s advisory group (pictured above) is knitting hats and scarves to donate to the Atwood and Williams Schools. Other advisory projects include giving trees, mini food drives, and volunteering time. Keep up the good works, MHS!
