This month, the classroom moved to different places in our community. Students were given opportunities to experience community offerings on planned field trips.
Fourth graders visited the Maine State Museum. They learned about Logging Camps, River Drives, and Sawmills. They also learned about fossils and even got to make their own arrowheads.
Second grade went on a field trip to L.C. Bates and learned lots about pond critters, animal adaptations, and space!
First grade visited Hart to Hart Farm. They were immersed in a true farm experience. Students were able to milk cows, make lemon cheese and taste it! They also combed wool and twisted it to make yarn.
