Bringing Notre Dame to the Stage

The Messalonskee Players crew members and tech director Laurel Hanson have really outdone themselves this time!  They’ve turned the Messalonskee Performing Arts Center stage into a massive cathedral, complete with working bells and an impressive stained glass window – all built by hand.

Over the course of the last few months, the students on crew learned carpentry skills, sewing, painting, problem-solving, how to run highly a complex sound and light board and much more as the group prepared for this week’s production of The Hunchback of Notre Dame.

You don’t want to miss this amazing production directed by Austin Hayes.  Showtimes are this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 7pm and Sunday at 2pm.  Tickets are $10 for adults and $6 for students and seniors.
