Saying good-bye to our retiring staff members is always bittersweet. This year is particularly hard as we have not had the opportunity to celebrate them as we would like.
Over the course of this week, we will have a series of posts about our retirees from different schools and departments across the district.
Please join us in congratulating them on all their achievements and wishing them luck and joy in their retirement.
Transportation Department

Regional School Unit 18 will have two long term employees retiring at the end of this year. We have been very fortunate to have the services of Linda Rodrigue who has driven a school bus in China since March of 1986 and Janice Cummings who has driven a van within the district since August of 2001.
RSU 18 has been very fortunate to employ two dedicated and loyal employees over this period of time. When asked what their plans were upon retirement, Linda has expressed an interest in traveling once the pandemic passes and continuing to spend time with her family. Janice will be spending more time with her pets and family. Both are looking forward to rest and relaxation in their retirement.
We all want to wish Linda and Janice a healthy and enjoyable retirement.
