During the first quarter, students in the fifth grade at China Middle School had the opportunity to enjoy our school forest with good company. Students in the fifth grade were able to walk to the frog pond, the fairy houses, the reading tree, and visit the many outdoor classrooms in our school forest while chatting with friends.
This tradition of the “Walk and Talk” elective has been passed down by Mrs. Maroon, who retired last year. Though the fifth graders did not get to have her as a teacher, they are still able to participate in her beloved elective activity.
