As Thanksgiving was approaching, given the extra challenges our community is facing, it felt important to take the time to look around and really notice and appreciate the positive things and people here at China Primary.
Together, as a staff, we modeled thankfulness for the kids we work with everyday. In the days leading up to Thanksgiving break, adults were encouraged to write a note of Thanks to be read during morning announcements. Notes focusing on something or someone we were grateful for were jotted down on post-its and note cards and placed in the clearly labelled basket by the intercom to be shared each day.
