Our 4th graders wrapped up their year by learning about forces and motion during their content time. Students participated in a variety of experiments. Students learned about air resistance by creating a parachute for toy soldiers and dropping them from the balcony. They did this project to experiment with gravity, force, motion and air resistance in order to learn what worked best for how to create the best device for their egg drop activity.
