The James H. Bean School second graders in Mrs. Bibeau’s and Mrs. Ridgeway’s classrooms read the story Stone Soup this month while working on text-to-self and text-to-world connections. During grammar, students worked to make “soup-er” sentences. Each student brought in one ingredient for the soup and it bubbled away all day until it was time to enjoy the fruits of their labor. They learned the valuable lesson that sharing benefits everyone who contributes. #WeAreRSU18
