China Middle School’s sixth grade social studies students have been taking a tour of Ancient Mesopotamia. They have learned that as the cradle of civilization, Mesopotamia is the first recorded society that developed after farming allowed for people to change from a hunter-gatherer community to an agricultural society. Here is a gallery walk of some of their work. The students are working on meeting standards related to history, geography, economics, and civics.
