Mrs. Dunbar’s second grade class published their personal narrative writing pieces where they shared special memories from their young lives! This is the first of four published pieces for these students. The second graders focused on choosing an action, dialogue, or setting that would make a strong beginning. They worked on using transition words to move the story along. They practiced bringing characters to life with details, dialogue, and action. They chose strong words that would help the reader picture their story. The published stories are hanging in the hallway for everyone to enjoy! #WeAreRSU18
