What a Week

This week has been nothing short of exciting for all of the schools within RSU 18 as staff and students celebrated Teacher Appreciation Week! At Williams Elementary School, there have been daily prize giveaways of gift cards and a hanging plant donated by Pierce’s Greenhouse and Korner Store. Lisa Lachance-Bolduc graciously donated her time and energy to gift all staff who signed up a 10 minute massage. As mentioned in a previous post, the WES/ATW PTA decorated the Williams Elementary staff room and filled it with special treats and drinks for the staff to enjoy for the entire week! All district staff were gifted special L.L. Bean tote bags with the RSU 18 logo embroidered on it from our Superintendent’s Office and RSU 18 School Board! Paul Boucher and his staff at Aroma Joe’s, located on KMD in Waterville, prepared a special coffee bar (both iced and hot coffees available) along with a variety of breakfast pastries for the Williams’ staff on Thursday! To close out the celebrations, Laura Benedict, owner of the Red Barn, offered to treat the WES staff (as well as the Messalonskee Middle School and Messalonskee High School staff) to a special luncheon once the Red Barn Roadshow Food Truck is repaired! Everyone at Williams Elementary School is so thankful for the generous donations of goods and services from the community!

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!
