To teach and remind students to properly care for school library books, James H. Bean students got to see what happens to books when they aren’t treated with respect. The children recently examined books that were returned to the JHB library with some “emergency needs” that needed to be repaired. As part of this engaging lesson, the students figured out what happened to each book and what could be done to prevent other books from having to go to the library “ER.” Shoutout to our creative and innovative educators for creating such an engaging lesson to teach children the importance of caring for our borrowed library books.
