Kindergarten students at JHB have been learning about weather and seasons. On a sunny day, the class took a leaf walk through the woods to see what the forest looks like at the beginning of fall. In a few weeks, they will take another walk and notice how their surroundings have changed! The students had a lot of fun on their “adventure” and collected many leaves and pinecones. They learned that orange strings marked the path and that the woods in Sidney, Maine looks a lot like “Jurassic Park!” The kindergarteners are looking forward to going again.
