The Belgrade Central School students in Ms. Arsenault’s and Mrs. Pott’s kindergarten classes spent time learning about Community Helpers this month. Community Helpers assist us day to day, and students were very excited for the opportunity to meet some of these individuals from the community. Belgrade’s school nurse spoke with the students, the Belgrade Fire and Rescue Department visited with the fire trucks, Sheriff Deputy Lucas Potts and Sheriff Deputy Travis Spencer came to visit and talked about taking care of community members, and Firefighter Logan Holinger from Belgrade Fire and Rescue came to show the students the tools he uses when he faces a fire. The kindergarteners learned a lot and are so grateful for the time these special guests gave them!
