Kindergarten students in Mrs. Paradis’ music classes are currently learning about the four voice channels: speaking, whispering, shouting, and singing. They have participated in various activities that focus on their singing voices – such as echoing a slide whistle high to low and low to high as well as tracing a contoured line with their finger while using their voice to follow the path from low to high or high to low. Recently, students were given a piece of yarn to create their own contoured line to follow with their voice. Children worked with a partner and each created a line, and both students vocalized each other’s creation. #WeAreRSU18 #JHBDragons
