A new club has started at Belgrade Central School – the BCS Book Buddies! Over the last three weeks, BCS Book Buddies has met after school twice a week to read and discuss the book Odder by Katherine Applegate. In addition to reading the book, students have spent time watching the live otter cam, reading non-fiction books about otters, crafting, and learning all about sea otters such as their diet, their dynamic kelp forest habitat, and about the incredible sea otter rehabilitation program at The Monterey Bay Aquarium. Students will wrap up their first book next week with an “otterly” spectacular celebration! #WeAreRSU18
