Chess Match: Superintendent Gartley v. Gavin Henderson

If you remember, Atwood Primary School’s Gavin Henderson won first place in a K-4th grade chess tournament in Bangor over February vacation. This second grader returned to school after break and received a chess challenge from Superintendent Gartley!

Well Gavin had his match with Mr. Gartley yesterday and Gavin won! Superintendent Gartley says that, “He is really good!” Way to go, Gavin! #WeAreRSU18 #AtwoodAwesome
