Although the band room has been silent for the last few months, we’ve still been making plenty of music! The CMS band has adapted to using a variety of platforms to record themselves and collaborate with their classmates. Our main project has been creating instrument demo videos to inspire our incoming 5th graders to join Beginner Band. I’m so incredibly proud of my students for finding a place for music in their lives during a very challenging time. I can’t wait to be back in the band room, but until then we’ll continue to make music together.
