In December, the China Primary School was awarded a Gratitude Grant which would be used to show our appreciation for our community resources. All staff participated in a fitness challenge for five weeks. There were four teams and each earned points by walking, running or participating in a physical activity of their choice.
The awards given at the end of the challenge were: first place $100, 2nd place $75, 3rd place $50 and 4th $25. Each team chose a local charity or non-profit group to donate their award. The two recipients were the China School Forest and the China Community Food Pantry.
