The Importance of Brain Breaks in the Classroom

Brain Breaks are short, energizing bursts of activity that boost blood flow, send oxygen to the brain, and help kids better retain information. Research has shown that Brain Breaks increase students’ on-task behavior, helps with focus and attention. In fact, research has shown that students learn more quickly after they’ve exercised. Mr. Parisi decided to join in during a brain break in Mrs. Charest’s classroom one morning…what fun we had!
