Messalonskee Middle School’s Team Highlands (an 8th grade team) has worked with a volunteer to bring mechanics into the lives of some of their students. Volunteer, Jim Routhier, works with a small group of students twice a week to build 3D machines, chemical rockets, and exposes students to a variety of tools. Students have raved about these experiences and were able to share their learning with their teammates.
